Rhapsody In Blue

This late ‘80s southern vernacular style home was starting to show its age when the homeowners approached us about updating the interior architecture and decor of the main living spaces and bathrooms throughout.  The home’s original rustic unfinished wood beamed surfaces and exposed raw brick were painted and whitewashed white transforming it from dark and gloomy to light, airy and ethereal.  

Decor wise, the clients requested that differing shades of blue be employed throughout the home.  French antiques were combined with clean-lined classic furniture pieces to create an outcome that is both sophisticated and timeless.
